Chrome: How to have Chrome default to Incognito Mode
print icon

To have Incognito mode pop up as default you will need to right-click on the Chrome icon on the desktop and click into Properties>Shortcut>Target. To the right hand side of Target you will want to go to the end of the listed URL and add a Space then add -incognito to the end. After that you will want to hit Apply and OK. Depending on the account that you are applying this to, it will prompt you for admin credentials.

     - Use these admin credentials if you are not part of the IT team:

        User Name: download

        Password: Library4ever

After you click apply, and enter admin credentials, click ok. Then launch Chrome.

From there you should start seeing Chrome pop up in incognito mode by default for now on which will also seep over to other local accounts on the computer.
