How to Install Go-To-Assist

The following guide is a step by step guide on how to install the Go-To-Assist program used to remotely connect to both patron and staff pcs.

  1. The Go-To-Assist software can be found on the L: Drive, more specifically, L:\IT Dept\Software. The software can also be found on the flash drive under both New Public PC and New Staff PC
  2. Open the G2A folder
  3. Launch the install software
    1. For staff, this may prompt you for an admin user name and password, use the following:
      • User Name: download
      • Password: Library4ever
  4. Software will be installed, restart the computer to for Go-To-Assist to update its version
  5. Once installed, check the Go-To-Assist console for the PC to make sure it was installed
